Trees

The HOA is responsible for over 250 trees in the area. These trees consist mainly of evergreens planted as a screen along Windsor Road and Prospect Avenue, plus the trees in the three "boulevard" areas of North and South Notttingham Courts and Barclay Court. Some general maintenance of these trees is performed by a local lawn care service and is covered by HOA dues in the annual budget. Emergency tree removal due to weather is also covered by HOA dues.

In recent years, several trees have died or are in poor condition, and may need additional services such as deep fertilization or removal. Also, pedestrians have complained about tree branches above the sidewalks.

2013-03-03 At the 2013 HOA Annual Meeting, Bill Malone of Ludwig Bros., Inc. presented his evaluation of the trees and a proposed cost estimate for fixing the problems.

2013-03-09 Bill Malone inspected the walkways in and around the properties. Most of the areas that need pruning are trees on homeowners property and will need to be discussed with the homeowners. The far east walk however is on HOA property and he is working on what that will cost. Additional photos were added to the Pictures of Trees album.
